Matthew Broderick Talks About His New Movie "Dirty Weekend" And Iconic 1980s Film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" (VIDEO)

Matthew Broderick stopped by "The Today Show" on Wednesday to promote his upcoming drama comedy film "Dirty Weekend".

During the interview with Matt Lauer, Broderick, 53, talked about his breakout role in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" back in 1986.

The actor attended "The Friars Club Presents An Evening with Dirty Weekend" the same day joined by his co-star Alice Eve and writer/director Neil LaBute.

Phil Burke and Gia Crovatin also star in the movie.

"Dirty Weekend" follows the story of Les Moore (played by Broderick), who is a businessman who finds himself delayed in a city where a year earlier a few too many drinks led to an unexpected meeting that has since haunted him. He sets out with his co-worker Natalie Hamilton (played by Eve) to realize what really occurred that night.
