50 Cent Files For Bankruptcy

50 Cent has reportedly filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, just days after he was instructed to give $5 million in a lawsuit that he lost.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the legal papers that were filed show that the rapper's debts are basically consumer debts and that he has assets and liabilities ranging from $10 million to $50 million.

Last week, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, was ordered to pay $5 million to a female who claims he leaked her sex tape on the web. The clip featured Lastonia Leviston, who was once in an affair with his rap rival Rick Ross, though he wasn't spotted in the footage. In the clip that 50 Cent, 40, shared online, he offered commentary while playing a character named Pimpin' Curly.
