Ryan Phillippe On Divorce From Reese Witherspoon: "The Problem Was Age"

Ryan Phillippe talked about his divorce from Reese Witherspoon on Saturday.


Phillippe, 40, visited the "Larry King Now" to promote his new show "Secrets and Lies".


King, 81, asked the actor why his marriage with Witherspoon, 39, didn't last.

Ryan responded: "I think more of the problem was age, you know, when we got together so young. I think it can create issues - two people in this industry - because there's so much noise that goes around with it."

He noted, however, that they still amicably co-parent and are "very much" pals.
