Will Poulter is in negotiations to play the popular creepy clown Pennywise in a remake of Stephen King's scary movie "It".
The film is set to be directed by "True Detective" director Cary Fukunaga.
It was originally a TV film starring John Ritter and Tim Curry, who portrayed the clown and immediately turned out a cult classic.
Fukunaga has insisted the movie version will stay true to Stephen King's novel, which is really lengthy.
According to Variety, Mark Rylance and Ben Mendelsohn are also competing for the leading role. Fukunaga, however, could not reject Poulter, 22, after giving a great audition.
